Title: 68 April San Jose Hood Latch Support Paint Mark
Post by: Oz390 on August 25, 2013, 08:39:03 AM
Minor semi-related engine bay area detail I found the other day disassembling a April '68 GT/CS.... ink stamp on center latch support, hidden by latch bar.

Mid to late 68 San Jose Mustangs often have a paint inspector style stamp place on them in that general location. Never seen them located under the latch rod and never (yet ;) a strong yellow. Thanks for sharing

PS Divided the original post from the other subject since it was not related to December 67 San Jose builds (almost 6 months - half a year off :)

No worries Jeff.

Will be posting some other pics of the paintwork to try to determine what is original on the blackout and body color overspray.  I'll start a new thread.
