Does anyone have pictures of assembly line installed upper ball joints?
-
SJ june 68 build 289-2V w/AC/PS pictures below..........
Different lighting was used in the first picture which gives off a yellowish tint, other two used clear light.
First and second pic's are of the driver's side, and third is of the passenger side.
If it helps.

General question about posts. When I login under my name I see the pictures I posted in my reply to this thread. However, when I enter the website without logging in , instead as a guest, the pictures do not appear. Is there something that I have not done properly, or am I not accustomed to viewing as a guest?

Don't think I've got any pretty nice looking original ones that have not bee cleaned and such - Is there a particular detail (waffle pattern, color/tone of rivets, boot style...) that your looking for? Might have something in that case ;)

Jeff,
I am looking for detail on the body & boots.
Thanks,
Chris

Chris,
Here is a pic of a C7 upper ball joint. Hopefully this will help.

So the assembly line parts are the same as the replacement parts?

Yes and no. Typically the service parts evolved from like assembly line as in early service parts to later versions that were not. typically the boot and it's markings retainer ring rivits etc. are the determining factor. I think 69bossnut has some real new OLD stock service parts that are like assemblyline.
