Title: 69 price requests
Post by: 67gta289 on October 03, 2013, 08:41:33 PM
Found a couple of very stripped 351 69 Machs in a junk yard.  A few parts left, and wondering if worth stripping.  What is the realistic value for these - i.e. not Mr. Haney "rare as hen's teeth" price?

1. Rear carlite glass
2. Rear glass stainless trim
3. Rear side windows
4. Quarter panel scoops
5. Carlite door glass

Thanks, John

I would say the stainless back glass trim is worth the most if it's not all dented or bent up. @ $200.00 for the set. Original glass is not worth a great deal as most of the time it's scratched up and no real way to repair. I would say $100.00 on the back glass and the same on the qtr. glass. Side glass on a 69 were mostly glue in and the late 69 and 70 glass is worth more as it's bolt in. Side scoops are not worth that much because they don't rust out or get damaged that often, maybe $75.00 for the pair. This is of course a rough idea for typical used condition 45 year old parts however if some parts are above average it will get more money. If it was me I would carefully remove the stainless trim and leave the rest if it's just in typical condition, just my opinion of course.
