Title: 68 350 export brace
Post by: ruppstang on October 20, 2013, 10:19:27 AM
I was looking at a 1968 Shelby GT 350 #323 yesterday and noticed that it did not have a export brace. Did some of the early builds not have a export brace? Sorry I did not have my camera, this car was very rusty and had set a very long time. It seem odd that some one would have taken it off.

Believe all got the braces - never heard of any without originally and don't have pictures of any early (round that car or earlier) without

Nothing is too "odd" when your trying to figure out what a PO did or why ;)

Ok thanks guys. That is what I thought. The reinforced shock tower caps were still in place, it is a mystery why the PO removed the export brace.
