I know most of you are familiar with the excellent restoration work Fred Ballard does on Carter fuel pumps, but I couldn't resist posting some pictures of my pump before and after. This is the original 3911-S CARbureTER pump from my 65. Shortly after I bought the car in 1979, I removed the fuel pump and threw it in a pile of rusty parts, where it sat for over three decades. I never thought Fred could bring it back to life, but the pictures speak for themselves!
