Title: 70 Mach 1 rocker moldings
Post by: 70Twister on October 30, 2013, 12:06:25 AM
I have two types of Mach 1 front fender rocker moldings. One of the moldings the letters come off and the other one the letters don't come off. So which type of molding is correct for my car?? Dearborn build date 10/13/69

This is one I can't help with - Only owned one of these over the years and don't have pictures of the back sides or detailed front sides of the panel to provide any direction or range of each styles usage :(

As a owner of a twister special and having had restored multiple mach 1s I can tell you the early cars thru mid December used two piece mouldings and the later cars used one piece mouldings

For a data point even though yours is Dearborn, on my 70 Mach 1, Metuchan,  Sept 1969 built, I have the ones with the removable letters.
