Title: Autolite Alternators
Post by: Sunlitgold68 on February 23, 2010, 02:12:43 PM
Just saw where Jack Brooks is offering rebuilt autolite alternators. I bought an alternator from a mustang supplier and now would rather have an original autolite. I haven't looked too closely at the one I bought (reproduction) is an original going to be much different than the repro?

The repros that AMK was producing (and isn't any more) aren't marked "AUTOLITE" on the rear half of the case.  The new repros that Jack is producing use an original case so the marking is included.
