Title: Correct Radiator for my early 65?
Post by: blk65fstbk on January 12, 2014, 10:28:55 PM
I'm trying to determine what radiator would be correct for my car. It was built in Dearborn on November 5th, 1964 and is an A-code with a 4 speed manual transmission and no air conditioning. I've seen lots of references to C4ZE G2 and Y2. Can someone help? Thanks.

I'm sure someone knowledgeable will reply, but meanwhile you can reference an older thread I had on the same topic. Difference is my June 64 260 V8 is an auto. For Dearborn cars though, the proper radiator will have markings on strap on the side of the radiator, driver's side. The strap ends on top will be square, no markings on top. You won't have the openings on the bottom though for transmission cooling lines:
