Please see the attached pics. I had these " spacer pads" on each door and although the doors were original to the car, ( the one pictured), I'm not sure this set- up is. When I close the door now, the door jamb switch doesn't seem to touch the door enough to shut off. Just wanted clarity if these are indeed original to the early cars before I put them on my replacement doors. My car also has the flat door jamb area where the switch mounts and is a June 29th build from Dearborn.

yes those are indeed originals although i am not exactly sure of the cutoff date.

+1 sure the date of the change over would be slightly different between plants and of course VIN's will not help allot. Earliest Dearborn car I've got without the falcon style door jamb or the Falcon door switch plate is in the 195xxx period
