Title: 1965 Heavy Duty Battery Option?
Post by: mustang65ld on January 19, 2014, 08:17:48 PM
I am trying to make sure I understand the details correctly for the 1965 Heavy Duty Battery option. Would these details be correct?

Group 24F Battery with "short" battery hold down clamp?
55 Amp Alternator: Red "AUTOLITE" Stamp?
55 Amp Voltage Regulator: C5TF-10316-A?

Anything else/corrections?

Heavy Duty just means 24F.

Don't believe the alternator type was tied to the battery option.  That was dependent on other options or combination of options.

Ah, so the plot may thicken a bit here. So next question would be what options triggered the 55 Amp Alternator and 55 Amp Voltage Regulator?
