Title: Transmission Crossmember
Post by: dwdshelby on January 23, 2014, 02:26:29 AM
Hi all,

I have a 68 kr auto convertible with a June 3, 1968 build date.

Should the transmission cross member be natural or sg black? I have seen it both ways but not sure what is correct.

Blessings

Would that be the same for a 68 GT 350  W/ auto? Ours has black on it, and looked to be original but hard to tell under all of the grime.

Bare steel on the assemblyline . Commonly painted by restorers.
