Anyone having a close up pic of the remote mirror knob. Found one but not sure its the right one.

This is the 69 version. Brian

Not as classy or stylish as the 69 IMHO Basically a stalk/stem and a retaining bezel. The Bezel has a "step" in the design unlike the 71 version

Here's mine, I temporarily put the mirrors on; here's my 70s knob, for certain it is original to the car

carefull as these brake easy on thin thread end.

trial fitting everything for spring/body work, temporary position for winter storage, the car has a binky don't worry

It is an exact reproduction of the 1970 Sport mirror remote knob. It is a dead ringer for the 1968 knob. Clearly too big of a ball, and the overall length is longer than found on 1969, and 1971-73 mirrors.

Would try to find the original first. Also do like original parts, but nice to know that if all fails.... ;)
