Title: Trans dip stick

Looking to find the difference between an FMX dipstick and a C6 dipstick. Some how mine got misplaced. NPD has a replacement one listed for a C6 but not an FMX, just wondering if it would work? Or if not if someone has an FMX dipstick forsale?

The 1969-72 FMX dipstick is marked C9OP-7A020-A on the blade.

Application for 1972 - 1973 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with 351 and FMX automatic transmissions, code "X" on your door data plate.
Sometime during 1972 Ford changed to C9AP-7A020-C. Same dip stick, but with a longer handle.

We have both of the above listed on the online catalog.

A generic C6 dipstick may work, but I would compare the fill level lines to a known original, on both FMX and various C6 applications.
