I previously bought a pair of NOS blue color coded door lock knobs, tonight I was going through some boxes and found the ones that were on the car (not sure whether they are original to the car) but they are chrome plated.
Got me wondering if whether there was a combination of color coded and chrome plated door lock knobs for 64 cars, or were all early cars color coded and then a change over to the chrome plated?

Don't believe they mixed and matched the two versions. Sure there might be some overlapping but from my understanding the next box would not be set on the line until the other was just about gone. So any overlap might be 5-6 cars at best I would thing
