Title: 1964 1/2 Trunk Latch

I may have noticed another 64 1/2 oddity yesterday.

Comparing a 65 SJ May 65 built trunk latch with my April 64 Dearborn car I noticed a tab on the rear of the 65, that the 64 does not have. Were the 65's built "Trunk Remote Ready"? Was this a SJ thing? The side not shown in the pictures is stamped and made the same, including the galvanized finish. The sides shown have a different finish, and the rivets? are different as well Anyone else seen this?

Is it yet another pre-August 64 thing? :o

Good find, I'll have to look at the one on the pace car coupe.
