Title: Pulley ID - FoMoCo "P"
Post by: Oz390 on September 17, 2014, 04:59:06 AM
Have a 4 bolt pulley, aligns to a water pump pattern, single sheave, ~5 7/8" OD.

Only markings are FoMoCo stamp and a "P",  can find no reference to identify its original use... anyone know?

I believe that "P" is a manufacturers mark. Some pulleys were ink stamped.

Would need a measurement of offset too to have a chance at getting an I.D. of this pulley. Lay it face down and measure to top edge of pulley and maybe shoot us an image.

Front face is flat, center hub even with edge of sheave.

Cleaned it up a bit more and found a faint C6AE-9B447-E  (I think),  that is a smog pump pulley....????  67 S code smog is one reference I found...
