painting or dipping pulley and other semi gloss black parts
« on: October 22, 2015, 09:13:04 PM »
I have the pulleys and alt brackets and ect media blasted and ready for refinishing.  So what is the preferred method of finishing these parts in factory standards?

If the media blasting left a texture you may need to sand (big numbers)  the surface first before you paint. In general these surfaces with smooth and without a large number or any defects before the paint coating.

Have only seen pulley that appear to have been sprayed  as for alternator brackets (if they were painted on your specific application - not all were) I don't recall seeing drips but maybe others have different observations.

Its a start ;)   Welcome to the site
