Split and moved this discussion over here since we were going to get off the general subject of restored carburetors and focus on a particular type and such
So to start off with a couple of things I would change if it was my project. Unfortunately I don't have a perfect new 70 Autolite 4300 available but I've got an example of an original I shot a few months back that shows some details (guess we could always clean it, though age seems to have taken its toll a bit on the finishes. Combined with a NOS (68-69 boxed) 4300 I think we can collect a few clues and plating features
Overall it looks like they did a great job but like many items that are restored the final detailing is often handled by the end user
Placed arrows at the more obvious points so what we can clearly see and discuss those points if needed
