64-1/2 Grille
« on: June 12, 2018, 06:22:25 PM »
A couple weeks of questions about the grille on a64-1/2:
1) I have an aerosol can grille of paint for the early Mustangs.  My question is about the two vertical braces that are attached to the grille.  They do not appear to be the same color as the grille, but look like semi gloss black.  Can anyone confirm that?

2) The rivets that attach these braces to the grille, does anyone have a source for them.  They are smaller than any rivets I have seen.

3) The “dents” on the top and bottom of grille (see photo) appear to belong there, as they are not just randomly spaced.  Is that correct?
Thanks.
Phil

Braces are black, and I believe rivets are supposed to be black but I believe are glossier.  A detail I would like to fix on my car.  Search on this forum, I believe there is a source for the rivets.

Thanks for the replies!  I’ll search for the rivets.
