Intake Manifold - 1967 Built 3/16 in San Jose
« on: May 30, 2020, 09:15:46 PM »
I searched thru some of the older threads (library) but could not find an answer to my question.
I have a 1967 Convertible, 289 2V built 3/16/67 in San Jose.
Intake manifold has code # C8AE-9425 B, with another three digit code below 7G6.  I have read in some other publications that the C8AE-9425 was used in 1967.  Is that accurate?  What does 7G6 mean?

I think that you meant July 6, 1967?

Must have missed the article on - Date Codes - Decoding Date Codes . Date code pattern for cast iron engine parts is shown and decoded on pg 9 ;)

Bottom line the intake and or engine didn't come in the car originally
