Shelby Eyebrow Question
« on: May 26, 2020, 08:19:37 PM »
Hi,

While inventorying parts for my June 12, 1969 Dearborn GT 350 I noticed that both of my rechromed eyebrow moldings were missing two of the smaller mounting brackets. May have been separated by Chromer  and he  is out of business so I have no idea what the parts look like so I could make new ones.

Question 1 Does anyone have a picture of the little mounting tabs with measurements?
2 Does anyone have any for sale?

Thank You!

I have an original pair someplace, let me look for them.
Accurate looking but not a Concours Restoration/build. See my build photo gallery at 69GT350 Hertz Build

If this is what you are looking for, what measurements do you need?

That's a perfect measurement for me. I need to manufacture the two top mounting brackets as mine are gone. Could I get a closeup picture of those mounting brackets?

Thank you

I quickly threw together a gallery that will let you open the images full size so you can see them clearly in your browser.

Example image here ends up too large and if uploaded is too small for full detail:

Thank you. Are the top two mounting brackets tac welded on the bottom point and wedged in on the top?

I added a few more photos. You can see the double dimples from the plug/spot welds on the bottom outside of the eyebrows. It looks like on the upper outer edges the brackets were brazed on (from the inside) and then the eyebrows were chromed.
