« on: July 06, 2020, 04:58:48 PM »
Ive been told that the cast iron 3 ear underride traction bar mount was a Copper color. Does anyone know exactly what color that was, or a close replacement color? Thanks

Get some Krylon spray can Copper .There are other similar brands with their own version of copper that are close if not the same.I have matched that up before with the Krylon and unless the formula has changed drastically you should be good to go.

And what color is the bracket that is welded to the frame rail? Did Shelby paint over the bracket after in was welded onto the frame rail?

Yes they were suppose to be covered with a black rattle can to protect the surfaces from rusting after the welding of the bracket to the frame rail

Pictures from another thread on the subject. Practice didn't hold up well over time with cheap thin paint applied
