I have a 6012 headlight with the letters 'TUNG-SOL' along the bottom, not the typical t/s insignia. It also has 'FoMoCo' oval etch in the center and 'Made for Ford' stamp on the back.Any info appreciated. Thanks
Didn't Marcus do a study on the date codes? If not Marcus, someone did state that the date is part if that SAE number. If what I am suggesting has merit, wouldn't that be a 1961 date?
According to the Chrysler300club.com website tech section: The "Tung Sol" spelled out at the bottom of the bulb started in 1961 and replaced the prior center located "TS" circle logo. It also states the "H61" indicates a 1961 date code.Regards,Scott
ct429cj that is correct 69 dearborn bulb for late april car but sometime shortly after april ford either ran out or ( changed vendors) of the ts fomoco bulbs and no fomoco GE bulbs start showing up. I have been tring to document when exactly this change happened and 69 boss 429s are what i use to document this since most are low mile cars and the inner hi beam dont get used as much as outer low beam.
