Only Autolite 1100 1v's were used originally on 1965-1966 Mustang 6 cylinder cars from the factory.  In 1970, Ford started supplying Carter 1v's on Mustangs, Falcons, and other New Fords.  It was the same Carter 1v carb that was used on AMC Jeeps at the time. In the Mid 1970's through the Early 1980's, The Holley 1v was used as a Ford Service Replacement Part at Ford Dealerships as it worked very well, was easily obtainable, was somewhat dependable, and did not have the Cold start issues of the Autolite 1100's and Carter 1v's.  The original Ford air-cleaners did not fit the Holley 1v carbs very well or not at all.  They were usually tossed or replaced with a different aircleaner.  There were also height fitment problems as well, so many original air cleaners either did not fit or had to be retrofitted to work.

look at those p/n's. they are for 1970. holley carb was used as a service replacement. you need the correct 1100.

From the restoration guide the following part numbers listed:
For 66; One of these two are what I would be looking for:
C6DF-C         C6DZ0-9510-A
C6OF-G         C6OZ-9510-D

Then for 66/67
C7DF-J           C6DZ-9510-E
C7DF-K           C6OZ-9510-M

Then for 66/69
C8PF-L           C6DZ-9510-F

Which book did you get that from?  If it's the Corcoran Mustang Restoration Guide, please be careful with the information as there are known errors and information regarding part numbers is taken from the 1975 version of the Ford master parts catalog, that has lots of updated/superseded numbers in it.

And four different numbers depending on trans and if it came with Thermactor ;)

Jeff, yes there are more that are calibrated differently but two different main bodies.

What are they worth ? Never been rebuilt , and original 1966 auto light 1100
