Variations in 63-64 Thunderbird 15x5.5 steel wheels
« on: February 05, 2019, 01:05:37 AM »
Does anyone know a source to determine what style/markings should be on 63/64 Thunderbird 15x5.5 steel wheels?  Have 2 wheels that look the same, but different markings.  Trying to determine which one would be more typical for use in the later part of 64.

You can try the ITC , International Thunderbird Club. I’m a member but never had to contact them. They do have a Facebook page.

I'll roll out the 3-4 I've got if it isn't raining tomorrow and take some shots of the dates and the center section for each up and see if those matches provide some help. Hopefully not all of them are from a later period. Know one is a Jan 65 date.

Checked and all the early ones I have are the exact same date so too late (by 6 months or so) for your project. They only had the oval FoMoCo  - Jan 65 dates

Thanks Jeff.  Were they 15x5.5 wheels?
