The hand nibbler requires a 3/8" diameter hole be drilled to start with. From there it's maybe 15 bites per nutplate square hole in an inner fender apron.

If carefully used, it will work fine. Drill out the center of the rectangle you need, and "trim" the rest - again, carefully.

OK, drill 4 holes with the correct corner radius, jig saw inboard of final fit and use a small belt sander or file to smooth things out between the holes.

These mini sanders are very useful.
