65 brake distribution block questions
« on: September 14, 2011, 04:51:53 PM »
The attached pics are from my 65 GT.  Couple of questions, as usual.  Is this the correct distribution block for the 65 GT?  What are the 3 marks on the top of the block? Lastly, what is the correct finish for the mounting tab?  Thanks much in advance.  Rob

Yes, the disc brake block for 65-66 was a 3 hole unit.  The bracket was originally plated zinc dichromate (gold).

What are the 3 marks on the top of the block?

According to Brake fitting research done by Bob Mannel, it looks like the Weatherhead Company logo.
