I think it's R-134 only. R-12 is no longer sold but containers show up on e-bay off and on. I don't know if it's legal. R-134 is not compatible with the seals and gaskets in older a/c systems that were made for R-12 if that's your question.

Thanks. I am having a 71 429 restored in NY. The ac unit is being restored with new seals, hoses, etc. Looks like this is the right coolant.
