Quality repair shop in the Charlotte, NC area
« on: September 01, 2013, 11:41:15 AM »
We rebuilt an engine for a customer back in 2011, and now the rear seal is starting to leak. I know two years on a seal is past the warranty and he drives the car almost daily,  but it still shouldn't leak that early either. I want to make it right. It is a 302 automatic in a 68 convertible. Anyone know a good, reputable repair shop in the Charlotte, NC area that I could take it to?  Thanks. - Dave

I don't know of any places personally, but this outfit does enough with classic cars that I'm sure they could help or know a shop:

These guys do restorations and are in the Charlotte area.  I don't know anything about them, but maybe Charles or someone else does?  I think the owner might be someone named Monroe?

I've heard of him, think he has a decent stock of NOS parts.
