Topic: dual exhaust H pipe part number I.D.

Two identical shaped NOS 289 dual exhaust front exhaust H pipes one with C5ZZ 5246-K paper tag, locating tabs on bottom, other with C5ZZ 5246-G paper tag, locating tabs on the side, are these both K code mustang pipes one 64-66 and other a 67 thank you.

After a little research and reding i found the correct info on the H pipes in the mustang & ford book by Bob Mannel section I-18 (foot note 1) C5ZZ-5246-G 1965 K code pipe was replaced in 1966 by C5ZZ-5246-K pipe used without T/E both interchange.

The side tabs were used in production before the bottom tabs.  I have had/seen 65-66 dated NOS FoMoCo script front to rear exhaust pieces (from H-pipe to end of rear resonator) that had slots on the sides to fit into the tabs.
