Is this Mustang the most expensive and highest optioned - A Code Coupe Produced in 1967?

The topic title is a bit boisterous I know.  Especially asking the members of the Concourse Mustang Forum.   However, I am asking you guys
because I know that you have the knowledge and research available to hopefully answer my question.   I asked Marti Auto Works but unfortunately,
they are not currently accepting ?Personal Research? questions.  However, I do have all the other reports that they offer.

The answer will not change my opinion of the car as it is a fun, sharp little coupe to drive and own. But anyone that enjoys doing research and history on their old cars loves to find out all that they can.  The car was originally sold at Jack Gibbons City Ford in Watchung, New Jersey and from what I can tell spent most of its life in that state.  When I purchased the car someone (years back) had changed the color from Burnt Amber with deluxe Saddle, to Wimbledon White with deluxe Parchment interior.  I have tried to locate the original owner, but to no avail.  The car is far from concourse, but my intent was to return it to as original as possible and to cruising and an occasional car show.

So, my question is (from your experience) have you seen a Marti report or Window Sticker for a 1967 A code Coupe that has more options or was more expensive when sold originally?  There may be 67 K code and S code coupes with the competition handling package that would have certainly sold for more.
Thank you!
Ron

It looks like a well optioned car. Typically dealer promotional cars were "loaded" with as many features as possible.

Maybe not even close. I worked for "Ford Aerospace and Communications Corporation" (formerly "Philco-Ford") in Palo Alto, Ca. from 1967 thru 1985. We could buy any Ford Product (semi-tractors were one of the exceptions) for 2 percent UNDER dealer's cost (one great incentive) so options were the normal practice That was the "A" plan. The "B" plan was an upper management benefit. It was a "lease car". (It was nuts in 1969 with a leased 428 Mach I. "Break it", Ford fixed it for free.) After the one year lease, anyone could "claim" the lease car to buy when it was turned in. (One of "them" sits in my garage.) To verify your claim, I suggest you get a "Marti Report" https://www.martiauto.com/ You "may" have a winner.

Yes, I guess I did forget to attach the other Marti report that I have.  I ordered everything on the car that Marti offers, but unfortunately, they are no longer doing
"Personal Research" on cars.  It may very well be a dealer promotional car as Coralsnake mentions or just a unique, first time Mustang owner that loved coupes and wanted all the options he could order.   Additionally, it has an original rear rib tail panel (grill), but that must have been added after the car was delivered as it is not on the Marti report. Again, if anyone has an A Code Coupe or information on similar cars, I would love to see the Marti or Window sticker.
Thanks
Ron

By the way Jim, that is a beautiful 66 Hipo GT Fastback!  What color is that?  Here is a pic of a 1965 hipo GT in Silver Blue that I purchased a few years back from the original owner.

Silver Blue, code Y. Mine is a San Jose car, 6R09K121xxx "63B, Y, 62 18K, 72 5 6" are the door panel numbers. To make you "envious", it sits next to this 65 -

Nice Coupe.
I suppose there might be one out there with AM/FM or 8track and Tilt. Maybe speed control, although I am not sure speed control was available with manual transmission.

Did you know that the console was mandatory, if the convenience group option was ordered along with air conditioning?

Good Morning Scott
Yes, there were certainly more options that could be ordered in 1967.  Not sure about speed control when a manual transmission was ordered.
Correct on the console when you order the convenience control package with a/c.  I guess they had to place the four indicator lights some place other than the dash. I wonder if a car was ordered with the convenience package, without a/c, but with a console, if they left the indicator lights in the center dash or moved them to the console?
