Carl the sticker you reference is a early 80's Jim Osborne creation with incorrect information. The sample he used was from a 69 Boss 429 , thus the L for Lima plant rather than C1 for Cleveland plant.
EDIT - I guess you were referring to the decal in Marcus's guide and not the one Jeff describes as original?
Carl let me offer that the picture was included in the thread about reproducing the engine ID labels and not meant to be a representation of a specific year or model original sticker. If it has I would have likely included a caption referring it as an original for a specific application. Will try and think about that if and when I do something similar in future postings and will replace it with an original
It sure looks aged enough to be original! Unfortunately my original (I think) decal is not of much use.
