Hi folks,

My Name is Oliver and i am from germany. My 1967 Convertible 289 just came somewhere around Atlanta, GA to germany. It's my first Mustang, but i always wanted to have one.
Right now the car is getting restored. It is in very good shape, but there are some things to do. Right now the car is grey with a mixed red/grey/black interior, but in a few weeks it will be painted candy apple red and it gets red interior. GT Foglights and GT rear panel with quad exhausttips are also planned.
Later this year i will try to upholster the car by my self and i will change the Instrument bezel and the dash trim panel. I am pretty often in the states ( working for an airline  ;) ) so i can get the parts pretty cheap.
In germany everything is at least 2 times more expensive.

Here are two pictures from the pony. When it is finished i will post an update.

Welcome and great looking Stang.

Hopefully the Candy Apple Red is the original color, as Jeff eluded to we're about originality :)

Welcome, enjoy and learn, as we all do.  "67 'verts are also my favorite…...
I don't always downshift, but when I do it is near a Prius so they can hear me hurting the environment.

Welcome!  It's nice hearing from fellow enthusiasts from across the pond!  I like the color combo you have on it now, looks sharp!  Lots of good folks here willing to help.

I must also say that I really like the color as it is now. Once you change the color, post new pictures of before and after

The colour is not bad, but not original. its the grey from a 2010 or so Mustang.
I guess its a little bit to much mixed. White top, grey exterieur and red, black, grey interieur. And i love candy apple red in combination with red interieur.  ;)

I will post new pics when the car is painted.
