glazer nolan did the restore, wouldnt they know the history of the car??
Would not assume anything. Not all shops or owners can spend as much time researching the finer details since they are trying to run a business and make money, especially if they are restoring (for example) a 64 Dearborn car one day, a 67 NJ convertible the next week and then a 66 San Jose built car.
Not suggesting that its the case in this example but sometimes the guys that have been around for a long time are still restoring to older standards and expectations.
