First - Welcome to the site we hope that you will find the information here helpful in your concours related efforts.

Could you tell us when the car was built? Just the general period normally you don't need to be exact unless you have a Marti report and the exact date it was really completed on. These details can change one or more times during a production year so just trying to get the best answer for you possible.

You might want to  include all this info in a signature that will be posted every time you post so you don't have to type it over and over again ;)

Again welcome.

Hope this helps

Light Blue - Dark Green - Yellow

Light blue is often similar to Robins Egg Blue
Dark green is often found as a Forest Green
Yellow on drivelines is often a medium Yellow, not Bright or School bus

Just finishing up an article for the site on general paint mark info (what are marks, types of marks, colors used and related items) I hope to have on the site before the end of the year.

You should be able to do a search to find discussions of how they were originally applied and some of the ways members have come up with to reproduce that original look

.......do you know wich color markings there was used on the leaf springs  :)

What are the stampings on each of the rear leaf springs?

and other places on my 1969 coupe

There could be 50 or over 100 just depends on who was working, plant, day and options. If you've read all the other similar requests the best place is for you (if the car has not been stripped) to investigate, document and reproduce what you find on your particular cars. There is a chance your car has a mark that no others may have gotten or it may just have had the basic normal ones. In any case that sort of request can take 8-10 hours of research

Single silver stripe at the rear of the long leaf just before the spring forms the eye for the rear shackle

My advice is do a search and follow what we've suggested and what others have found to be successful

Nothing new recently to change any of those suggestions that I know of

Not strange IMHO what is listed is what the workers used to identify the driveline. Other colors and markings may have been applied but the guy making the driveline or handling the final (with U joints and yoke) assembly. Inspectors or the guy balancing the driveline may, could and often did apply even more marks. Since you don't have any remains of colors and other markings you are left IMHO with what we do know - leaving out at this time what we don't ;)

Different application that has little or nothing to do with yours. Have some with 6 or more

The group of three were likely the ones used for identification the other may have indicated the rearward end. In an earlier year they marked the yoke so that repair personnel knew which end was t the back as they had problems with reversal and drivablity issues
