Strut rod cup washers

Hi Fellas
Which way round were the cup washers originaly fitted when the cars were assembled - cup toward the rubber or away?
What do you recommend if poly bushes are used ?

Toward the rubber. The ones that are cupped away (on the rear) are the Moog replacements. I don't know much about poly bushings, I only use the Ford ones

i would not recommend the poly bushings. they will put too much stress on the rod & it could break. i usually refinish & reuse the original washers & nut.
