1967 GT500 Fiberglass Hood Correction
« on: July 04, 2020, 03:54:02 PM »
I just put my hood back on after doing my master cylinder and brake booster work. I took advice from all and got it flat. Question though. It is a metal reinforced fiberglass. Front and rear passenger side corners of hood level with other panels. No bow in middle. Hood corners match cowl and middle of hood by windshield has no bow. So drivers side by windshield matches other panels, but drivers side has maybe 1/4" bow down that side including corner where drivers hood pin connects. Front of hood on passenger side nice match. Hood has very slight bow front to back on drivers side only. Anyone ever try over the long term to put a little weight on that side during storage periods to bring the hood down?
