Power Steering Cylinder

Application is 1970 Mustang
My power steering cylinder has a very small dent in it, yet the dent is sufficient to be felt when moving the piston by hand.

Therefore, I am looking for an original, rebuildable core without dents. I know these cylinders are reproduced, yet I'm extremely reluctant to go that route.

I just went through rebuilding the ps system on my BOSS.

One thing that I discovered is that these ps cylinders come in different lengths. Be sure you compare your replacement side-by-side with the original, paying particular attention to the length of the ps cylinder from the mounting stud on the center link to the two hose connections. 3/4" makes a huge difference. Ask me how I know...😁
