That is a tall order even without a specific date code. You may want to check on new date coded glass from ECS. They do nice work but it is not fast, I waited for six months for a clear windshield.
Good luck

Yes, I understand. These are tough to locate.
I have a very nice. Correct for 67 (dated 6k I believe) that I will trade for the right glass, and a body shop sanded unit ?along the door weatherstrip line.

Thank you
Fran

If the scratches are not in the logo area you should look into the commercial glass  grinding and polishing systems.
You can remove even body shop sanding marks.

Bill that system looks much more effective than Rhodite and a hard felt pad.  ::)

Please note that the ReNu product is available from many sources and at various price points. That was the first one to come up in a real quick search.
Richard (67gtasanjose) first researched that product. He has a few posts about it.

I got a small test kit which turned out to be a waste of $50 which, while it worked, was only good for a few vent windows. I need to do most of my windows! That will be a multi-day project and will involve the larger kit and possibly a few extra pads. I'm not looking forward to it since it's a lot of grunt work. Heck, I need to do the 2+2 as well so this will be a marathon.

Oh, I should note that to do this right you need to at least pull off the top stainless trim. An oak block and a dead blow takes care of them with NPD selling the tape.

The upper stainless and lower track frame is removable if you soak the window tape in a goo remover, so I wouldn't use frame or trim condition when looking for replacement windows.

This system is an awesome solution to replacing glass. I ended up ordering more of the grey discs so as Bill says, it isn't an easy task but it is definitely a way to get every scratch out, even 80 grit DA scuffs.

Marty I did too the felt pad and the Rhodite is what my Eastwood kit came with although it was effective with hard water stains the scratches took a bit of time and it seems the water mixed powder got flung everywhere.

Not to say the Eastwood kit won't do the task but I also bought the Eastwood kit prior to buying the GlassRenu kit and for my purposes, the Eastwood kit was useless. It for sure would not have removed the DA scratches in my quarter glass while the GlassRenu kit took those very deep scratches out in minimal effort.

You really need to remove the lower frame to get out DA scratches.
When you use the coarse grit you can actually dig in quite deep and you need to spread out the grinding down. Just like body work.
I tried to get a deep scratch out of a wing window. I succeeded to get it out and I ended up with a bowl.
I'm amazed how deep you can go and still have a tempered window that doesn't disintegrate.
