Looking for a ?long finger? shield for a 69 car equipped a/c. But might look at short finger version as alternative. Thanks
FYI even though the long finger 69/70 style is technically for A/C the cut off finger style has been observed on many survivor type A/C cars. It is as if they ran out of one they used the other because there wasn't enough difference to matter or they were they just being lazy.
I for one could not in good conscience deduct when judging for ether given the survivor A/C shield observations I have seen over the years. With all that said I think you are on the right path trying to get the one that was supposed to be there but if you end up using a cut off finger type don't be stressed given it was a also used alternative there from the factory too.
