Topic: 65 2+2 rear window -- Looking for early factory Tinted or Untinted rear glass

This poll originally looked for untinted rear glass in a 65 2+2. I'll broaden that to include the EARLIEST found 65 2+2 tinted rear glass too.

Does your 65 2+2 have an untinted rear window glass? This glass would have the Carlite logo and NOT have a SUN-X inscription in the glass.

The intent of this poll is to ascertain if ANY 65 2+2 fastbacks originally had untinted rear window glass.
We know that the door tag production dates aren't exactly correct as to the date the car was actually built, but we have to start somewhere. I suppose it's possible the glass date may post-date the door tag date if the car build was delayed.

Both mine have original glass and are Sun x. I know that?s not what you are looking for.

I'm not sure a non-SUN-X exists. I suppose I could turn this around and ask for the earliest 2+2 SUN-X date coded rear glass?

My rear window pre-dates my door tag date by a month (5D on a  5/18/65 car).

I also found that placing a piece of very dark window tint behind the Carlite logo and info yields a good picture. Note that the window shown is off the car, but waiting for cleanup and installation.

my sig car, october 23,1964 proposed build date has the tint but the date code is badly faded and unreadable but i believe it is the original glass.
