New Milestone - Almost There
« on: May 01, 2025, 08:59:47 PM »
I like to keep my eye on the details and that sort of thing of course

As we approach our 16th anniversary I notice that we will likely reach 7,000 official members before that anniversary day. July 11th.

As we've mentioned many times Charles and I never thought we would get more than a few hundred friends and acquaintances  to join us discussing the deep, deep details of our cars and the process of how they were originally assembled. Over the years we have found that we've underestimated to need and demand by just a little  ::)

Of course in addition to our official members there are tons of lurkers and followers that benefit from each of your postings, questions and information helping provide something very different and special unlike any other web site in the world. Typically ratio is 20-40 to 1 member at any given time. All of this interest has made this site the place to check out if your searching for unanswered questions, deeper understanding, access to unrestored vehicle pictures, restoration experience and just simple straight forward support for projects related to our stated focus.

Thank everyone of you for making this site what it has become and taking the time to read my ramblings.

I will probably never have a concourse car, but I love reading all the details here and trying to implement whatever I can on mine.  And every once in a while, I've actually been able to contribute.   As I mentioned to you one time many years ago at a show, thanks, and keep up the great work.

I once wondered the same thing but, with the amazing amount of voluntary contributions from the members at this site, what would have been absolutely impossible by and of myself, became a reachable goal...one aspect at a time.

My restored 67 has yet to attend a show that some sort of award wasn't given to me for going. Two MCA Gold awards, as example.

Not that the awards are the goal but the fact of what I have learned by going through this project being much more than ever expected of myself.

All things are possible if you give it the time and dedication, not to mention, finding answers to questions about your own spefic project (when needed).

I can never say Thank You enough for this forum. Thank you all again.

Hi to all,
First a huge Thanks!! For the time and effort to make this such a simple GREAT source of info. Very much appreciated. Second THANKS for the
Extreme picture data base, and often short response time to a question-often backed up by an example picture. Please know many of us are
Thankful and really hope it keeps going for many more years!!!
Thanks again. R.R.

Thanks for everything you and Charles have done for this Forum and to the Mustang Community as a whole.  Hard to believe it has been 16 years!

Congratulations!

Although this site would not exist without Charles and Jeff, I want to thank every member for contributing.

Thanks.

31 Days left before our 16th Anniversary.
45 membership slots before we hit 7,000 members

Looking at the logs we can certainly see that there at times a lot of members and guest/watchers on a daily basis.

And as always, THANKS TO THE MEMBERSHIP. We never thought about competing with any other sites but instead just wanted to carve a small section of the web so we could learn, teach and share knowledge/experience while growing together. Just trying to pass it on to those who may follow.
