WANTED!  So Ford called it a "sleeve". At least that's what's on the Ford box. The stud or trunnion that connects to the reverse lockout rod. This stud is smaller than the shifter trunnions and uses a different smaller diameter bushing. thanks

You are looking for the bushing at the bottom of the steering column? Scott Hollenbeck from Muscle Car Research sell them.

Re-reading I guess I wasn't very clear. I need the trunnion. I'm aware Muscle Car Research has the bushing. thank you for throwing that out there. The guy that owns Kickdown Rods Galore makes the shifter trunnion/stud. If someone had one maybe he could make the smaller one. I sent him an email asking if he could turn one down to the smaller size. Need to find one first to measure to make others. Seems this is one of those "unobtainium"parts.

You might consider looking in this forum's library under topic "1970 Mustang" and a link to "1965-72 Ford Master Parts Catalog" (its real, formal name is "Ford Car Parts" - shown on every page) and determine the "Ford Service Stock Number" to be sure all who read this post are on the same topic. There are illustrations as well.
