Topic: 68 Shelby front end fiberglass and grill install

Have the parts, have the Shelby "Unique Parts" book from Osborne, kinds fuzzy drawings and not to clear on assembly order.  Is there any website or write-up the gives the preferred assembly order, assuming there is one... it appear the grille kinda "clips" in between a few brackets, as it has no mounting points obvious on the expanded mesh (Branda Repro parts)

Fron the drawings it seems the order would be :

- Grille brackets, grill and upper panel brackets
- Headlamp brackets and bulbs 
- Lower valence
- Fender extensions
- Upper panel
- Grille opening trim
- fogs
- bumper and arms
- marker/parking lights



Any one with photos documenting the order, and what goes where and when, would be very helpful....

dont have photos but certainly I can talk you through it. I would say the important things are dont forget lower carriage bolts before beumper brackets and put bumper brackets in loosely before you tighten lower valance

I'm a long way off and was just looking at all the parts and trying to figure out;

1 - do I have them all
2 - how do they go together

i dont see hood latch brackets on your list. the most important thing is going to be the trial fit. critical before paint and double critical if using repop parts. also I dont think repops have hole drilled that bolt headlight buckets to valance and carriage bolts in the grill area

Thanks. It all going to be test fit, adjusted assembled and fully checked before paint.

Any photos of disassembled front ends would be very helpful to show what goes where.  As noted the Shelby sketch book is pretty vague in some areas...
