I will be looking around later this week, as the NCRS (Corvettes) has their Regional in Tucson near the airport at some indoor arena.  My '64 is going for the Duntov Award,  so I need to pass the critical and very tough Performance Verification test I have failed twice before.  Hope the weather is good this weekend, even though we will be indoors, want to see lots of Tucson I missed the last MCA Regional.  Maybe I will try out the casino at the resort, it is not too far from the airport area, right?
I don't always downshift, but when I do it is near a Prius so they can hear me hurting the environment.

The weather will be great this weekend.  Casino Del Sol is 9.2 miles from the airport, just a straight shot down Valencia Road.

We will be arriving with the trailer on Wednesday PM, I guess the trailer parking security, checkin, etc. will be in place for us then?

Thanks for the info Laurie.  The sun finally came out in Tucson yesterday, and the Corvette Regional is going well, I also achieved my Performance Verification award, after three tries, that is exciting for me.

Is that part of the AACA meet at the Casino Del Sol?  I was there yesterday, but was attending the High Chaparral Reunion.

Congrats on the award!

Thanks Laurie, no it is the National Corvette Restorers Society Arizona Regional at the Tucson Expo Center not far from the hotel you had the MCA Regional at last year.

We just had a cancellation in our roomblock, if anyone needs a room at the Casino Del Sol.  They are holding it for me until Monday.

Did anyone take any pictures?  I was busy judging and never really got a chance to see all the cars...Did get to see Mike's 3 unrestored beauties...
