Does anyone have an oil pan windage tray for a 428 CJ they'd be willing to part with?

I am aware there were changes made to the windage tray throughout production. My application is 1970 428, built October '69.

I searched the MPC and, referencing the attached picture, came up with C9ZZ-6687-A

Then I googled that part number, and the first hit looks like it has the information you need:

I think the one you are looking for with the notches on the sides is the easiest to find original. You will find 10 of the used originals with the notches to every one of the earlier type without the notches. I think most of the after market versions do not have the notches. The notches have to do with clearance for starter cable mounting in 1970.

Your pictures are of the 70 style with the cut outs on the passenger side edge.

I NEED ONE FOR A 1969 SCJ Built Dec.15,1968. How critical is it to have the exact tray in the technical sense. In other words will an after market tray or one  for a 70 work on the 69?

The 70 version will work the same as the 69 however a sharp eye can tell that it is the 70 version tray by looking at the passenger side gasket mating area.. The 70 version had cut out notches along the passenger side for clearance of starter cable brackets mounted on the block starting that year.The 69 version follows the contour of the pan gasket with no notches.  There are several different aftermarket companies making functional versions. They will all pass for the 69 version once installed given they do not have the notch cut outs on the passenger side edge. Remember the oil pan and windage tray were installed before the engine was painted if you car about the historical look.   If buying used Ford you will find 1 69 version to every 10 or 15 1970 versions.
