1969 - 70 Shelby / 70 GT500 carb bowl vent
« Last post by AJ on May 01, 2025, 05:56:48 PM »As part of the carb mods to the 70 gt500, was the vent on front carb bowl plugged. I saw this pic of a 7k mile 70 that recently sold.
Or was the vent only on the 4280 carbs on the automatics and the 4279 4 speed carb never vented to begin with.

1970 Mustang / Paint mark question for Metuchen Mach One

While I have spent a fair share of time trying to duplicate marks as they are shown on my build sheet, I was wondering if Jeff or one of the other experts could tell me some of the marks that you would expect to see on a Metuchen car like mine? I will try to attach my Marti report for more reference.

I have seen that the front glass is much closer to the actual build date of the car since it is used across all 3 models and supply runs out quicker than the fastback peculiar windows.
